CALLING ALL DOGS AND THEIR HUMAN PALS!!! 2nd ANNUAL DOGDADDY.ORG FOOD DRIVE KICKS OFF AT THE LAMBERTVILLE-NEW HOPE WINTER FESTIVAL 2012
NEW HOPE, PA – January 5th, 2012, www.DogDaddy.org, a fundraising website dedicated to the health, happiness and well-being of dogs and their humans, kicks off their second annual dog food drive at the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival held on January 28th, 2012. 100% of proceeds and donations will support the Fisherman’s Mark Food Pantry (www.fishermansmark.org). DogDaddy is involved with the local food pantry to feed the dogs of people in financial distress whose only other option is to give their dogs up for adoption to local rescues or shelters.
DogDaddy Dog Food Drive bins as well as Fishermans Mark Food Drive bins will be stationed at local area markets from New Hope PA, to Flemington NJ. River Signs of Lambertville NJ, and ALLIED Waste of Souderton, along with DogDaddy.org are sponsoring this food drive benefitting Fishermans Mark. Fishermans Mark is a non-profit entity and all donations are tax deductible.
Dave Decker, President of DogDaddy.Org, Inc., states, We here at DogDaddy believe that with the help of dog food drives, we can help to prevent people in financial distress from being forced to surrender their dogs.
The Winter Festival Parade will host the DogDaddy float sponsored by River Signs LLC (www.riversigns.net) of Lambertville NJ. The Sled Dog-themed float will feature AKC registered sled dogs that work with special needs children. Their names are Sassie, Gracie, and Precious.
All dogs and their humans are invited to join the Winter Festival Parade on January 28th, starting at 12:00 noon at the New Hope-Solebury High School and continuing down Bridge Street into Lambertville. Don’t forget to bring collapsible bowls, plenty of water and wipes to remove road salts from your best friend’s paws.
DogDaddy is involved with local shelters to feed the dogs of people in financial distress whose only other option is to give their dogs up for adoption to local rescues or shelters. We here at Dogdaddy feel that if there is any possibility of delaying or possibly stopping people in financial distress from giving their dogs up, then it is a worthy cause to either donate dog food or money to purchase these foods in order to feed the Dogs in peril.
DogDaddy will post donation locations for dog food contributions on their website. www.organic-chair.flywheelsites.com. Click on the pet food drives link. ALL types of pet foods are encouraged. Money to purchase dog foods can be pledged online by clicking on the Fishermans Mark link on the DogDaddy pet food drive page.
