The 3rd Annual DogDaddy Fest will be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2012 between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm at the New Hope Solebury High School, located on West Bridge Street, New Hope, Pa.
Presented by DogDaddy.Org, the event features numerous activities for both canines and their owners. With over 45 vendors, live entertainment, seminars, pet adoptions, a food court for all, and the prize awarding Pet Costume Parade, this year, Dog-Cams will be featured in an upcoming DogDaddy.Org documentary by the noted producer, Tyler Mertens.
Created as a celebration for the infinite happiness that dogs bring to our lives, founder and director Dave Decker began Dogdaddy.Org as a way to provide dog owners with information, resources and tools to enrich their dogs lives. It was only natural to create an annual festival that combines education and entertainment for both owner and pets, says Decker.
Ever mindful of the community, portions of the event’s proceeds benefit DogDaddy’s Dog Food Drive and benefits Fisherman’s Mark Food Pantry of Lambertville, N.J. (Donations can be made directly by calling 609.397.0194).
Being sponsor and donor driven, hayrides for dogs and their human pals are provided by courtesy of Thorpe Farm, and the renown veterinarian and author, Dr. Deva Kahlsa, will offer free “Ask the vet†consultations.
Tickets are available the day of event as well as online at DogDaddy.Org

14 years ago my life completely changed without warning. I was
a contractor and while on a job, I fell approximately 30 feet,
breaking my back, ribs, hips, femur, pelvis, and suffering internal organ
damage. The prognosis for recovery was grim and rehabilitation
was tough. Through over eight years of rehabilitation I had severe
limitations and suffered chronic pain.
Had it not been for my dog, Hershey, a Giant Chocolate Lab Newfoundland, I would have become wheelchair bound. Hershey forced me up and out, as he required walking and care. His companionship was priceless during the worst times.
Without even knowing it, Hershey saved my life.
Another lifeline during this period was Fisherman’s Mark. During
recovery, workmen’s compensation would periodically stop my
medical and financial benefits. I found myself out of food on these
occasions and turned to the Food Pantry at Fisherman’s Mark in order
to supplement the cost of living for Hershey and myself. This allowed me to keep Hershey and continue to facilitate my recovery.
Today, I have recovered from my accident enough to be active in the community. With a regimen of constant physical training, diet and supplements I have rehabilitated myself and I’m back on my feet, physically and financially.
My story might be quite different if I had been in a situation where I had to surrender my dog due to my economic and physical distress.
As a result, my mark in the community is Dogdaddy.org through which I have found a way to meaningfully give back.
